Modular Seating

This project began as a concept sketch for a flexible, space-saving seating solution and evolved into a fully engineered, production-ready modular system. Cut to Size supported every stage of the process, from early design development through to scaled manufacturing and final assembly.

The result was a smartly designed modular storage seating system, crafted to function in multi-use environments where space, durability, and adaptability are key. Each unit was CNC-machined from high-quality plywood for strength and visual appeal, with custom-cut foot plates that allow select units to double as functional steps or tiered seating.

Attention to detail was key—grey PET felt accents were used to soften the appearance, enhance comfort, and introduce tactile contrast across the system. Precision-cut seat pads provided comfort while maintaining clean lines, ensuring the final system looked as good as it performed.
